Keri McCauley, PT
Keri McCauley, PT is a licensed physical therapist who received her Master's in Physical Therapy from Elon University in 2002. Upon graduation, Keri began working in early intervention in the home care setting where she has remained, providing patients and families with dedicated care. Keri has worked with a variety of diagnoses including; but not limited to the following: Cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, torticollis, developmental delay, neurological disorders, sensory integration issues, orthopedic issues, prematurity, cognitive delays, seizure disorder, hypotonia/hypertonia, toe walking, hydrocephalus, visual/hearing impairments, traumatic brain injury, genetic disorders, spinal cord injury, and brachial plexus injury. Keri is an extremely hands-on therapist. She provides tactile feedback and manipulation throughout the duration of her sessions in order to encourage appropriate postural alignment and gross motor movement. Keri takes time to get to know her patients, their families, and their specific needs so that she can determine what treatments or equipment will produce the best outcomes. With an undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering, Keri is especially skilled at matching children with the correct equipment and adjusting it appropriately as they grow.
